Common Questions About Our Dumpster Rentals
Find clear answers about pricing, service areas, and waste types to help you plan your project with confidence.
Why does my final invoice include an environmental charge
Both the City of Fresno and unincorporated Fresno County mandate a strict 10% Environmental Fee on the total invoice amount. Valley Dumpster Service collects and processes this fee in accordance with local municipal codes.
Delivery is
free within a 10-mile radius of our yard. Beyond 10 miles, an itemized travel fee of
$4.00/mile is added.
Do you service mountain areas or extreme-distance locations?
Yes — we service Shaver Lake, Coalinga, and surrounding mountain and long-distance communities. Due to steep grades, specialized truck routing, and extended drive times, custom travel rates apply on top of standard mileage fees. Call our office for an exact transit quote.
What are the charges for extra days?
Residential: $45.00/day
Commercial contractors: $25.00/day (preferred business rate)
Can you accept burnt wood or fire debris?
Yes, with conditions. A mandatory fire department cooling period must be observed before burnt material can legally be loaded and hauled. Once cleared, additional disposal surcharges apply due to regional landfill regulations. You must notify our office prior to ordering if your project involves fire debris.
Can you accept treated wood (pressure-treated lumber, fence posts, etc.)?
Yes, in small amounts. Treated wood incurs additional processing fees due to chemical hazard classifications at disposal facilities. Please notify the driver at drop-off or pickup so it can be documented and transported safely.
